BOONIELAND KENNELS

PAST DOGS

GONE BUT NEVER FORGOTTEN

These are some of our dogs that made Boonieland what it is today ..These dogs are will never be forgotten and live on in our breeding dogs of today

We lost our beautiful Betsey on May 14, 2018..She was one of our foundation  girls that we kept to produce our longhair, she was a daughter of our Kayla and was turning 12 years old..She was sweet, comical, and very loyal..She produced some very nice puppies that includes our very own Annie..She will be dearly missed

STORM HAS ALL READY BEEN  ADOPTED AND LIVING A LIFE OF LUXURY WITH KEVIN AND D REINA IN MINNESOTA

Storm is one of the sweetest dogs I have ever owned, she loves everyone and knows no stranger. She loves children and is very gentle around them. Her gentle attitude doesn't stop her from performing in the field, when it is time to go to work she is all go.   Storm is crate train, house train, very obedient and would make an excellent pet with anyone even a house with small children..I wouldn't recommend her to a house with cats or other small pets because of her prey instinct she is being offered free to the right home with a spay contract

 KELLY

Kelly was adopted by a person who was supposed to return her to me if she didn't work out for them but instead gave her away to someone else..Every time I ask her about Kelly she said she was doing fine until the truth came out..since then all my dogs are micro chipped and the chip left in my name just in case the dog lands in a shelter..That is where I think My Kelly went and I hope she found a good home..

Kelly is a 4 year old female pure bred Weimaraner who is up for adoption.  She isn't going to be just for anyone...She lost an eye when she was just a puppy and she is a very nervous dog.   She needs someone who is  patient ,  kind and gentle.  She was in the house until she was a year old but has been in the kennel ever since.  She loves the kennel but with patient she could be a house dog.

BARBIE DOLL is one of our Longhair females that we have raised right here. Her sire VALKYRIES PARK AVENUE II was our start on the LH Weims since Mason was a LHC.  Her Dam Boonieland Kayla is also a LHC and when bred to Mason she always  produced a couple of LH in her litters.  I decided I was going to keep a LH female out of this breeding and out came Barbie Doll.  She was just a doll and that is how she got her name.  Barbie has excellent conformation, is as sweet as can be and loves everyone and everything. She produces very nice puppies with excellent conformation, her friendly attitude, and the drive to make it in the field.

We lost our beautiful Sassy on May 15, 2012...She got sick and a week later she was gone..She will be greatly missed...She was my baby that I personally raised and saved  when her mother pushed her away.

Sassy is one of our spoiled Weim females.  She was the runt of 10 puppies and her mother kept pushing her away.  I knew if I didn't do something she would surely die so I decided to bottle feed.  Sassy grew and got stronger everyday. She got her name because even though she was small she wouldn't let her litter mates pick on her.  She wouldn't back down on them and put them in their place. So the name Sassy fit her.  When she was 8 weeks old and it was time  for her new owners to pick her up I just couldn't part with her.  I told them that her sister was a much better puppy and Sassy was such a runt she wouldn't amount to anything.  They believed my story and I got to keep my little runt.. She is spayed and our personal house pet.

WE LOST OUR BELOVED WYATT ON OCTOBER 2, 2014...HE WILL BE MISSED BUT HIS LEGACY STILL LIVES THROUGH HIS DAUGHTER AND SON

Wyatt is another of the new males that I had purchased form Dawna Miller owner of PM WEIMARANERS in Montana.  We had been looking for some time for a Long Hair male that we could use on our LHC  females when Dawna contacted me and told me Wyatt was available. I didn't hesitate and purchased him on the spot.    He has the sweetest personality, his conformation is excellent and best of all his hips were PennHip Excellent  He passes on these good traits to his puppies
